    Man what an informative site you guys have here 🙂 Been having problems with above machine with error code 4 flashes. Instruction manual suggests ‘Door open’ when it most deffenetly isn’t! Is door lock at fault, if so is it easy to DIY fix (done search for local engineer,none local to Orkney apparantly 🙄 ) Any help much apprieciated, thanks in advance.

    The door can physically lock and not operate the switching mechanism to the computer board – in my experience a board fault is more likely. Door lock is p/no 1249675-12/3 if you wish to try substitution – spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply one at a sensible price.

    Thanks for your reply penguin, I take it the board is an arm and a leg type of price? Found a local guy who I will phone tomorrow I think. Thanks again.
