Ariston Margherita AIB 16 Fault Code F-07

My Ariston washing machine is less than four years old and so far have only had minor faults such as earth wire disconnected and belt off drum. However recently causing me some problems

On certain wash cycles, the machine appears to fill and take in the detergent and then hangs up and display shows fault code F-07. I have to switch machine off for a while and press and hold reset/start button to allow me to change wash programme. At present only two of these cycles work (Programme 8 (1hr 9mins) & 6 (1hr 34mins). After, these have finished their wash, they do not appear to have rinsed properly, nor does it automatically end, I therefore again have to reset and put onto rinse programme for further 48 mins (this at least comes to an end!)

Due to these programmes not “Ending”, the machine continues to turn the drum round and round until I stop it, when I open the door the washing is very warm, obvious concern of the machine going on fire, as such cannot do washing unless I am present!

Nothing obvious when looking at the machine, any help would be greatly appreciated before my poor husband is nagged into parting with cash for a new one!!!
