    Hi

    I have a Williams LP14WS upright Freezer serial 95070105030. refrigerant R134A. Compressor Embraco FG95HAK.

    The freezer is cutting out it stays on for only a few seconds before I can hear it click off. The inside is not getting cold at all. The compressor feels hot. Is it a thermal cut out in operation?

    If so have you any idea what is causing it?

    I’m told the compressor may need replacing. my postsode is ST18 if anyone can quote for the job

    It certainly sounds like a seized compressor or faulty relay/toc unit.
