    Hello. My 6 month old Miele G1220 has started to make a nasty graunchy rattly noise at the very beginning of its cycle and at a couple of other points too. It sounds like something is broken and rattling around, or possibly it is a very noisy air-rattling type noise. Otherwise it seems to be working fine. Any ideas?

    Probably something rattling around in the drain pump – you can access this yourself, check your user manual.
