    Good eveining all.

Been asked to repair a hob. No manufacturer indicated. I have got the following information from a paper label on the underside:

    Typ No. MCS600H
    Model NO. 02-800233

Anyone have any idea who makes this? I need an energy regulator.

Just as an aside this 6kW hob has also been wired using 2.5mm T&E :eeek: Needless to say, the customer said ‘its not used that much – I only cook the dinner on it’ – makes you wonder does it not!!

    Regards

    Greg

Checked the SEME disk & HT Maddocks disk. Diplomat seem start their model numbers AP AL AH etc. Thought it might be Homark or Bernstein (similar if not the same hob) no luck.

    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks for your help

Google shows it as a Diplomat but as you say it’s the wrong model format 😕

The 02-?????? number format is Caremark’s (Bernstein) but the closest I can find is a Brandt made model of 02-800223 with part number 76X3605 for the simmerstat ?

Thanks for the help. I assume that spares come from Electrue/Connect? If yes, prices are likely to border on outrageous.

Do you know of an other suppliers?

I seem to remember reading on the UKW forums awhile back that Brandt spares were a real mess – is this still the case? Just want avoid wasting time as the customer wants an estimate.

    Again, thank you

    regards

Connect show it at around £19 and Masterpart around £15.

    Both have stock 😀
