Been to some of these lately for Evap thermistor failure. Whist replacing have noticed that the drip tray heater has become dislodged from the drain channel pulling the right hand mounting screw out of the cabinet and a burn mark where the foil ends on the lower back cabinet accompanied by a crack in the cabinet. Is this common and why does it happen?

Been back to one with drip tray and hose frozen solid again. Clear ice has run down top vents. Both thermistors replaced. All thermal cutouts heaters metered ok. Defrost has occured due to clear ice but frozen solid in gutter. Same gutter heater is a continuation of defrost heater. Could water have got into lining? Crack in cabinet lower RHS near heater.
    Any ideas? 😕

There is an aditional heater behind the evaporator which may have failed, it looks to be behind the plate 😕

Yes that heater is ok as well. Hoped that condenser fan motor would keep drain tube warm to stop it from freezing. That works too. Got me stumped unless board is not switching heater on for long enough. 😕
