the dishwasher has filled its base tray with water, soaked the motor aswell, but before a new motor is fitted where has the water leaked from? this has the single over-flow pipe that seems to run from the centre of the sump /tub not the earlier twin pipe affair that went to the door well. any help much welcome..

I have seen several causes of leaks, had one today that was the circulation pump itself leaking, have also seen hoses adrift, leaks from around the sump chamber ( an absolute pain to replace ).
Also using 3 in 1 or 4 in 1 tablets can cause over foaming and flood the base.

A Hotpoint buddy of mine tells me that there is now a Technical Bulletin about this. Something about the length of the door seal????

Anybody have a copy so we can all have a look?
