in my younger years, when you came upon a cooker stat and wanted to adjust or recalibrate it to within 10 deg’s or so, we had the little adjusters, (very small insulated extended box spanners) to fit that nut in the back of the stat.
the question is? where do you get these from now. there is two size’s of adjuster’s on the back of the cooker stats, i need both ( especialy the new larger adjuster )
can anyone give me info on where to get these.
    thanks

I’d rather replace the ‘stat. I would have thought they are factory calibrated & if they are not performing inside a 10{e5d1b7155a01ef1f3b9c9968eaba33524ee81600d00d4be2b4d93ac2e58cec2d} tolerence i’d chuck them & fit replacement.

The modern replacement oven thermostats made by Diamond have just a slotted adjusting screw these days rather than a nut. As Seamy says, they are factory pre-set in the main and if fitted to the correct appliance, should not need any adjustment whatsoever 😉

I agree with Seamy and Martin. If the stat has drifted it is not worth recalibrating as it will only drift further. Break the red sealing paint on an EGO and that is the end of any warranty or comeback.
If the stat is running hot its a sure sign that the expansion agent is creeping away somewhere.
