    I think that the drum bearings need replacing on my Indesit WE16. It is very noisy on the spin and very rough when turning the drum by hand (feels notchy).

    I have never done this before, but i am an engineer by trade (last time i checked) and think that i should be able to handle it. Can anyone advise me on where i could find any documentation to help and where i can buy the bearings from? Looked at the spares on this site and the WE16 is not listed?

    spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk will be able to supply you with the parts required:

    6205 and 6206 bearing, oil seal C00082696.

    Bearing cross piece will need to be removed from the rear of the tub and half an hours indulgence with a large hammer and drift will follow.
