    Can anyone suggest a supplier for a grill element ( main oven) for the above model.

    Is it the same as the Rangemaster element ??

    It may be a Stoves but I’m not absolutely certain.

    Yep, it could be either.

    Any other numbers on the rating plate would help, Stoves will begin 05… and Rangemaster will have their usual style serial number.

    TKC1285 that is the one we repair (BSH)

    Part no.840895 top element £28,10

    I’m sure Dave can get cheaper though 😉

    Thanks for everyones help on this one.

    Have not been to site yet to photo this one – we always try to do a a first time fix to make the job cost effective.

    If Dave can obtain Boro’s part cheaper then of course we will purchase from Dave; if not we will buy from BSH. If its the wrong element we will put into stock – there is bound to be one goes sooner or later.

    I can’t I’m afraid, special order everywhere and the “wholesalers” want retail price for it 😕
