ParticipantHi,
Samsung SRS2028CSS ice maker stopped making ice cubes recently.
The ice tray seems stuck upside down at a 45 degree angle.
Any help would be appreciated.
Cheers

Hi,
Thanks for that, pressed the little black button for 5 secs, presume I’ll have to wait a while before it starts making ice again?
Cheers

Hi,
No it didn’t reset to it’s normal position.
Could only see one little black button; when you remove the ice cube container it was under the control box (with the little white cogs & gears in it) at the bottom right hand side, it’s called the “TEST BUTTON” in the handbook, is this the correct one?
Cheers

Hi
I take it then the ice container is basicly upside down ?
If so all you need to do is gently pull the quare control unit towards you and the ice tray will drop off.
You just then need to turn it the right way up and replace the same way.

Hi Bryan,
I think that might have done the trick 😀 😀
Removed the ice cube tray, pressed the black button and the unit reset to it’s normal position. Have now replaced the tray and it’s the correct way up.
I thought if I briefly pressed the little black button that the tray would fill with water but it didn’t, will I just have to wait?
Cheers
Mike
Later,Just checked and the ice cube tray now has water in it 😆 😆
Frozen margaritas here we come 😀
Thanks again Bryan.

I have an RS21JLBG and had the same problem: no ice and the ice tray at 45 degrees. I pressed the black button and the tray was totally upside down, so I switched the appliance off and back on and it’s worked!
Thanks for the advice.
