Hi
Guessing that my fan element has gone. It’s a twin oven Homark, 02-700206A W – about 7 or 8 years old from B&Q.
The grill/small oven works. The large fan oven’s fan & light work, but no heat. The indicator light comes on outside when I turn the temperature dial and there is a click at the start, so I assume the thermostat is OK.
According to my wife, there was a crackling sound and a yellow/orange glow with possibly some sparks visible by the fan, she switched it off and now it doesn’t work.
Is it the ele2040 I need? Is it straightforward to fit (I’m not very technical, but can wield a screwdriver 😕 )? Obviously I’ll isolate the power 😉
