    Our Electrolux ESL 624 Dishwasher will not fill and I suspect the IWMS Matrix may be faulty. I have taken the side off the machine and one of the larger campartments within the IWMS contains a substance that looks like brown sugar !! Is this substance causing the fault or is it some part of the IWMS

    Any Help appreciated !

    Hi

    NO the “brown sugar ” is the water softener part of the system,
    posibily the safety part of the water inlet valve has triggered stopping water from entering machine and needs to be drained. And the reason for this has to be found. There is a small tube at the back inside at bottom right of machine looking from rear that will need to be drained..

    POWER OFF WHEN WORKING ON MACHINE AND PLUG OUT OF SOCKET
