    Hi chaps

    friend of mine called to say his relatives
    servis 800 automatic
    is making weird noises when spinning. hopefully it will be bearings but anybody got any idea how easy they are to fit and if its worth doing and prices and so on.

    Bearing set’s about a fiver from any of the wholesalers.

    Two common tanks –

    Vitreous enamel. Undo clamp band, back falls off. It the job takes more than 40 minutes, you’re doing something wrong.

    Stainless/alloy cross piece. Undo clamp band, back falls off. Extracting inner bearing can be extremely difficult if the race collapses.

    Model number would help, BTW 😀
