I have a Bosch freezer (ENR numbers: GSS3005/01 FD7407 000297)
It has been behaving very erratically and having spells of increasing temperature, even to the point of 0 degrees. There are no obvious causes like interrupted power supply, door left open or faulty seal. The temperature gauge seems to be working properly, responding to different settings, and the compressor is running, even when the temperature is not being reduced. When left running untouched for a few days, it responded to the setting ‘3’ and brought the temperature to -21 degrees. Then it had a wee rest and the temperature rose to 0 degrees. It restarted after about a day and brought the temperature down again. And so on…
I have bought another freezer, but prefer the Bosch and would like to know what is wrong with it and if it is worth having it repaired. Any advice would be welcome.Re: Faulty Bosch freezer

Thanks for the reply Dave. I did leave the freezer running for a while and the compressor was running constantly when the temperature had risen. It did switch off once the correct temperature had been reached on the intermittent occasions when the machine decided to work normally. I have switched the machine off now.Meg

Possible system failure in that case, engineer time really to be honest, check the repairs@ link below 😀
