I have a bearing change to do on the above model, can anyone advise me if the job can be done from the rear (motor off etc) or does the drum have to come out?

I have the bearing no’s and prices ❗ ❗ Connect are taking the p*** with these prices but there again who isn’t on the bandwagon with extortionate parts prices nowadays, the Brits will pay!!!!! ……………for so long 😉 😉

Try SEME for the parts their LG Parts are more realistcly priced, dont know that model myself, but if its the direct drive, the motor comes off easily (can even leave the coils on if you are carefull.) and drum out the front for splitting. Easier than a WMA and far easier than a Zanussi.

    Thanks Eastlmark

You are right about SEME although I have found some Electrue bearings which a bit more sensible on price

    For reference:-

    SEME W1-04615c3 6305 SKF bearing
    SEME W1-04616c3 6306 SKF bearing

    Approx £12 the pair

Not sure if Electrue are SKF

I think these bearings are used on quite a few LG models
