Turned machine on yesterday and nothing apart from static red light !! Went out and came back and wash was done….Tried to use this morning and there is nothing on any programme light just remains static along with control know but nothing is happening ..Have tried reseting machine but couple of times i have done this it starts to fill with water then realises its turned to off and stops …Any ideas ??….Machine is an AWD12S

Sounds like an outbreak of mad computer disease. Normally, specific component failures or problems will mainfest themselves as an error code accompanied by the dial clunking round. Your description does not fit with this, so the most likely culprit is the computer board itself.
