I have an Ocean Frost Free upright freezer. It has worked for three or four years without any problem. Last week it stopped working. I don’t know why but there had been a power cut for approx an hour during the night before.
I emptied it and switched off. I left it for a day and switched it on again. It gets cold to the extent that the red warning light cuts out but after two or three hours the whole thing switches off. Left off for a couple of hours, it will switch on again but the pattern repeats.
The model is FUF0920B Type 0527 Class N
Any advice as to what I should do next would be much appreciated

    Re: Ocean Freezer

It sounds like a control PCB problem but hofefully it isn’t as the part is obsolete 😯

It’s worth a look I think as it could be a sensor/defrost problem as well.

Check the repairs@ link below for an engineer who will be able to accurately diagnose for you 🙂

You should be able to find an engineer who can fit the new type pcb in place of the obsolete one.
