Hi Kwat,
My washine machine appears to be spinnine too fast when it wrings the clothes out at the end of the wah. Sorry for being un-technical ! Not sure what the technical term is.

KeymasterUnlikely. What’s the actual problem? What’s the results of this?

Hi Kwat,
The spin part of the cycle is at such a fast speed that it has started to rip the clothes inside. Sounds like a 747 jet at full tilt !
I’v taken the lid off and had a poke around and some of the wire going to the engine that spins the round bit seems to have melted and dripped round the plug part of it.
Not sure whether to take the engine bit apart and have a look..Any ideas here?

KeymasterKen you seem to be posting from an IP range that a user was using to post abuse and your email does not tie with your username. Can you explain this please?
Apart from that, if this is genuine you should call in some professional help as, given your ability, I’m not prepared to offer any help in case you do damage to yourself since you obviously do not have the technical ability to go any further.
Apart from which the symptoms you decribe contradict one another and you haven’t given us any information on what machine it is.

Hi Kwat,
just read the first part of your post ???? Not sure what you mean ??
As you know my email address then you know why I dont use my real name …to avoid racial abuse that I sometimes get when posting on message boards with my real name….

KeymasterYou won’t get any racial abuse on here, period. Any user that does do something as stupid as that would be swiflty dealt with. This forum is heavily monitored by a number of moderators as well as admin.
Sorry, but we’ve had problems with a user using your IP address so we are monitoring the forums closely. Not that we ever stop doing so.

Should a nuclear ENGINEER not know the difference between a motor and an engine ❓
