Does anyone know if the tank is available as a spare part and if it’s worth doing?
The machine is just over two years old and has a perforated tank. Water is seeping out from under the black tar coating and dripping onto the capacitor.
I can’t actually see a hole anywhere but I can’t work out where the water could be coming from unless there is a pinhole in the tank somewhere.

Tanks are not available as a replacement part I’m afraid. Could you not patch it using ‘Cargo Quik Steel’, that stuff plugs most holes in stainless tubs as a rule 😉
Pinholes are usually found just under the drain sieve (in the corners)

You could look for perforations in stainless around salt unit in tank.Also its worth checking that the collar that holds the salt unit in place inside tank; has not come loose.

the drips are forming too high up to be coming from the filter area.thanks anyway
