Indesit WD125 not working with error code.

I have searched the forum and find that this is a common problem but i cannot find my particular error code.

can you help?

after resetting the machine (turn off, turn to black dot, turn on, turn off, turn to program, turn on) the on/off light flashes slowly twice and then fast twice before then remaining permanently on. the light next to the “sun” logo also appears to be on very faintly (but it could just be “overspill” from the other one.

nothing else happens at all except sometimes it goes to start doing something for a split second and then stops.

i have emptied a load of coins out of the filter at the front and my wife has recently started using fabric softener in the drawer (if this could make a difference to anything)

any help would be appreciated.
