Whirlpool has added a new accessory to its whitegoods portfolio, in the form of the pedestal ““ a stand that is designed to alleviate lower-back risk when loading the machine, doubling as a handy storage unit.
The AMC906 pedestal allows the height of the front loader portal to be raised by 310mm to make access to the door and unloading to a basket much easier, says Whirlpool, potentially providing a solution to the bane of front-loading washing machines.
The pedestal attaches to the front load washer’s front feet to avoid the potential for vibration and increase safety.
