    My Miele dryer has started to cut out and trip the house RCD when drying towels. If I remove the filter thing from the bottom left hand side behind the door all is fine. Any hints on how to stop it tripping with the filter in??

    Could it be an overheat stat which is tripping out with the filter in. An oversensitive stat and a short in the circuit may cause the rcd to trip.
