Hi,
These forums were recommended by a friend who was helped by you guys, so here goes!
We have a Frigidaire under counter fridge, model number RLH1303. It was bought in June 2005, so is two months out of warranty.
This weekend we noticed it wasn’t as cold as it was, in fact it wasn’t much colder than room temperature. I emptied it out, wiped down the inside, made sure the drain hole was clear, dusted off the back, turned it off and on again and it got nice and cold again after a few hours. Whether that was something I did or just coincidence, I have no idea!
We thought, problem solved. But this morning it is warm again, and things are going off 🙁
What I’d really like to know is, is it worth getting someone to come and look at it or should we just delegate it to the big fridge heaven? Does it sound like an easy/cheap fix?
Hopefully I’ve provided all necessary details, shout if there’s any more info I can give.
I hope someone out there can advise us!

Hi Lois,
Not gospel, but it sounds as if the compressor is overheating and cutting out at a rough guess from what you say. Do give Frigidaire service a call though as most manufacturers are “reasonable” and will offer some concession as the machine is only just out of warranty. 😉
