    I always wondered what actually went on and on from Ariston. Some years later I worked out that it was the painful memories. 😉

    It just goes to prove the power of advertising doesn’t it. Ariston sold tens of thousands of appliances in the UK as a direct result. And we in the trade still fix ’em to this day, laughing all the way to the bank as we go……brilliant!

    Bring on the crap and long live Ariston I say 😉

    Just scrapped my mum’s old Ariston LB818 washing machine as spares are no longer available.
    25 years old and only repaired twice.
    That one did go on and on 😀

    All washing machines made 25 years ago were well made though weren’t they? I remember even Servis washing machines were built like tanks. 🙂
