    our dishwasher comes up with error E4 and will make a noise like it is draining away. (the door is still open at this point) The engineer said best thing to do was to mop the water out with a towel but why, there is nothing blocking the ‘sensors’ and also when I took out the filter etc there wasnt that much water there anyway. Before I call him back does anyone have an idea. many thanks.

    It’s a Haier if anyone has the fault codes but it sounds like a flood protection (base flooded) fault to me if the pump is running and no water left inside 😉
