I got a call from a guy today with one of these built in larder fridges. He says the audible alarm keeps going off and won’t reset and the numbers 3 and 7 are flashing on the temp selector. Has anybody got any ideas before I make my mind up whether or not to take the job?

Hmm, interesting, it’s a Whirlpool but neither they or MFI have any technical info on it, even the parts diagram doesn’t show the electrical parts 😕

The wiring diagram shows no less than 6 thermistors in it 😯 so that would be a starter….

Sorry, not much help really but there’s nowt on this model 🙁

if 3 and 7 are lighting up the cause is due to refrigerator air sensor faulty.

As quoted from bulletin that certain fault diagnosis lights will light up if pcb detects and sensor value above 200k ohms and below 400 ohm.

    Good old expert tech manual.

I am not suprised that either will not give out the info.

The bulletin only lists 3 sensors and guess what none are replaceable..

If anyone wants a copy of it PM me.
