ParticipantHi,
I’m new here, so if I’ve posted in the wrong part of the site or a post similar to this one has already been posted, then please excuse me.
Moving on then, the problem I have is with my Indesit C239 NF UK fridge/freezer, it is relatively minor… I think. Basically when I open the fridge door, the light inside is not on, the food and drink inside is still cold.
I thought that perhaps it could be the light bulb, if so how do I go about removing and changing the lightbulb (also is the lightbulb a special one or can it be bought anywhere?),
Please get back to me asap,
Thanks,

KeymasterHi,
The bulb should be available almost anywhere, including B&Q, but if you get stuck we can source one for you.
Usually there’s a lamp access cover behind the thermostat but I am not familiar with that particular model.

Thanks,
First of all thanks for the advice, but I think the actual fridge might be brken, the motor doesn’t seem to be on but yet things in the fridge are cool, but some of the things are spoiling like tuna filler is green, some of the eggs and cheese are green, even though the sell by dateis sometime next week,
If you could get back to me with some more advice, and possile an Indesit engineer it would be great,
Thanks,

Have you checked the fuse in the plug I wonder? Is the fridge actually switched on? If you are not sure, then click the link below for a local engineer. 🙂

I want to thank everybody for the advice and phone numbers… finally problem is sorted, got an engineer out, he changed the lightbulb and for some reason it works now, maybe thats how the mechanism works,
Thanks once again,
