ParticipantMy machine at the draining stage of it’s cycle gives an error message “check outlet pipe see user guide”
I removed the back and manually squeeze the machine empty. phew
Do you think the pump may have gone? If so how do I replace this as technicallyI am a hammer and nails sort of person.

if youve got the back off (and the appliance unplugged :zap:)
have a look in the black hose going from the drum to the pump as thats where the filter is, if thats clean take the pump off and check there is nothing stuck in that

Can you hear the pump whirring away? If yes, you are probably looking for a blockage. If not, the pump may have failed, although it is possible for small objects to get through the filter and jam the pump.
If it has failed, this is the one you want:
http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/modules.p … ucts_id=92Put the hammer down and get a screwdriver and a pair of pliers – it’s pretty straightforward.
Power off, of course.

By the far easiest way to drain it fully is to drop the drain hose into a washing up bowl and let gravity do the work. Apart from that, well done!
