ModeratorAnyone seen inside a new Miele yet? What are they like? Still stainless tubs? They look awful from the outside.

I think they look much more modern, and it’s probably about time they made them look a little less old fashioned. I’d be interested to see if they are reducing quality (like most of the others) or not.

Maybe our man on the sales floor (macmini) can take a gander at one and report back? I suppose that if the tub was plastic you could see that by folding back the door seal ❓ 💡

I’ll have a look when i next go in, judging by the weight of the machines, the quality seems to be the same,
We’ve just got some Candy washer dryers in, Jesus, i’ve never seen anything so bad IN MY LIFE, parts fall off, the hinges are made from tin foil… it’s worse than an INDESIT!

They still seem to be the same quality, same motor, drum bearings & still stainless steel suds container & drum.Just made it look more modern.
Time will tell, they still have 5 & 10 year gtees.

I dissagree, most Miele customers like them to look like their old one(which they probably bought 15 years ago), despite it being totaly different inside. And that silver door has been in and out of fashion so many times…… To change it so much is like AGA making a spaceage looking range…yuk. Hope they continue the ‘traditional’ machines alongside those horrid new ones.

Now have patented honey comb drums for optimum garment protection and also the fronts don’t hinge anymore, but they do come off to gain access as usual with miele. Still solid and built like a brick shit house, with less electronics in them, mainly one board in fascia.

I agree the change has been too radical they should have stuck to the classical style. In two years time the new model will look about as modern as a Ford Probe. 😆
