Participanthi and thanks in advance for reading this and any help you can give me will be much apprieciated. ok, cycle starts, drains straight away, fills, washes, drains then faults. or, drains, then starts to fill, then faults and drains, also flicks to a pre-wash cycle when faults, basically every time it faults it always drains, maybe that is part of an in built safety feaure i don’t know. the error light is a steady flashing light and beeping also.
now here’s the best bit i’ve had it in bits, done a visual of pump, motor, ntc, pressure switch everything even done a continuity check on pressure switch and all connectors that link up to the main pcb. had a look at the pcb no signs of any dry joints overheating etc.
the only thing that is abnormal is the main motor judders some times, wether the pcb can detect the motor drawing more current and faults i dont know. please help i am at my wits end!! and getting fed up 😥 washing by hand!!!
thanks again 😀 model code is 8542 347 15810

doooh!!!!!!!! its not a switch its a thermostat!!!!! sorry for confusion i know what i meant anyway 😀 just for the record i did test the NTC. however unless you know the exact calibration in ohm’s and degrees your totally f****d!!!!!!! (just incase someone else is convinced it’s not the NTC because they get a reading on their meter)
thanks again leon 😀 -
