    HI, FITTED ELEMENT TO ABOVE M/C YESTERDAY AS IT WAS OPEN CIRCUIT, APPLIANCE TESTED OK AND THE CUSTOMER HAS USED IT 4 TIMES OK ,NOW SHE SAYS TIMER IS CONTINUOUSLY ADVANCING. ANY IDEA HOW I CAN FIX THIS ONE PREFERABLY WITHOUT A VISIT CHEERS GUYS.

    Phone the police and tell them there is a suspect package at that address. 😀

    On a more serious note you need to ascertain how many times it is flashing, if she says 8 times, say your prayers. 😥

    Has she reset the program before choosing a new one.ie set the dial to an off position and pressed the start button wait for the red light to flash at steady rate, switch off on/off switch and choose new program?

    New element …. All this adds up to a well used machine. So.. my guess is that dreaded burning pressure switch. Fit a BRAND NEW one as they burn inside and cause that rotation.
