    Hi everyone,
    I need to replace the power switch+temp selection module for this dishwasher.

    Can you suggest the part number and how much it would cost?

    When I went to look at it a large slug had found it’s way across the power switch and the resulting slime had shorted the switch out (and god knows what else out.!

    I cleaned it all out as best I could but when I turned it on again it was still sparking, and I guess the circuit board has been compromised too.

    It’s an easy replacement for the whole module assembly, but if the cost of the part is too high, I might as well spring for a new dishwasher as this one is about 5 years old now.

    I can only find these numbers…

    E-NR 911.232.040
    F-Nr 027/660188

    two other numbers on the label are
    45 CEA 03
    and 646.143.620LP

    its an aeg oko favorit 5040-W

    The pust button unit part number 8996461718612 (comes complete) is £80.34 inc VAT and carriage.

    thanks for that, I think I’ve found it from the aeg spares guy already,but I’ll get back to you if I need anything more.
