hi,
Its a candy ccff26/13 that is defrosting but not enough. There is no ice on the bottom tray or hole, just a slow build-up around the evap. It looks to be turning off defrost too soon; can the thermistor on the top right (screwed to a metal plate) be moved somewhere else? Or is it a pcb fault? The fridge temp is fine.
Any advice appreciated 🙂
Graeme
Hi Graeme,
the thermistor is located in the evaporator and is a white cylinder shape about 30mm long, the part you refer to is the 85c thermal fuse. there has been quite a few mods to this (old) f/freezer if you get stuck give me a call on 07860486679 and i will talk you through them.
Thanks Bob,
as you can tell i don’t go out on much candy frost-free 😳
This is a neighbour who has no space for anything other than onother candy.
Is the defrost timed or thermistor controlled?
May give you a call bob if no easy answer.
Cheers
Graeme
