    Hi

    I have a new APM6852 combo Fridge Freezer (Diplomat?).

    Overnight it makes the most irratating Carcking / Creaking noises – I wouldnt mind but the Kitchen is next to the bedroom so it is waking me up!

    Trawling the web it looks like it is probably the auto defrost but should it really be this loud?

    Is there any way I can control the timer so it only does this during the day (it does creak and crack sometimes in the day but not to any where near the same extent!)

    You help to let me get a good nights sleep would be most appreciated – the manual is not up to much to guide me in any direction and I dont want to report a fault since I am not sure if it is one!

    It’s the insulation expanding and contracting but it shouldn’t be noisy enough to keep you awake 😉

    If it’s that loud, I would certainly contact the repair agents (MFI Extracare) and ask for advice on how to procede 🙂
