    Hi,

    My indesit w123uk has developed a fault. During the wash cycle after a minute or 2 it starts struggling to turn the drum and hesitates a bit.

    Belts fine and isnt slipping, looks like the motor isnt getting enough juice. The brushes are good and were changed earlier this year.

    Any ideas? My gut feeling is the controller pcb. Any particular component that could cause this?

    Does the drum turn at correct speed when empty? If yes, the motor is failing. If no, it may well be the computer board failing.

    just tried the machine empty and the drum still doesnt turn.

    cant be bothered to spend any more money on it now so i’m afraid its gotta go!
