fitted new grill element to neff B1476N2 GB/02 which has a relay and sensor slid into its housing,the sensor i take it is the stat which goes back to pcb, the problem i now have is that as soon as u switch on all that comes on is the cooling fan , when i take the sensor out of the element the oven comes on fine but no control over heat first time ive come across one of these, the element cost a arm and leg direct from bosch which was the only place i could get one quick and the sensor is near on £50 if that is the problem could anyone confirm that they have had this fault to many thanks andy.

Sounds like a faulty PTC (the sensor that slides inside heater) p/no 187031 £37.50 +Vat. The distance the PTC goes down the tubing may be critical for correct temp sensing aswell 😕

ive had one where the sensor was to close the the grill element,conventional and fan oven will work fine but as soon as you put the grill on it cuts out,may be worth checking
