Our 5 year old Neff U1721 oven has started tripping the circuit breaker in our house when we use the bottom (fan) oven. It only happens occasionally, but when it does it can trip the circuit several times within a few minutes. Using the top oven doesn’t cause the same problem.

Anyone any idea what the problem could be and how to fix it?

I would be looking at earth leakage on the circotherm element, but without faulting it, would have to be a guess.
Can you supply full model number off appliance itself, so we can make sure we advise correct part, thanks.

The plate on the inside says:
    E-NR U1721NOGB/02
    FD 8105
    HBB-EP31-7 5750313900

    Is that any help?

    Yes thats a great help.
The circotherm element is around £25 original p/no is 494643, if it should be the culprit.
Power off at double pole switch or fuse box before investigating further.
