    Hi, please can someone help. Our Indesit WIL153 stopped working as it was filling with water.

    The red door light is flashing continuously as well as 2 of the 4 green lights (from left to right lights 1 and 4)

    Please can someone give me advice on how this can be fixed

    F9 – computer gone potty, basically!

    No easy (or cheap) solution I’m afraid – pro help is your best option if you wish to keep it going. Click the link below for an engineer in your area.

    That doesnt sound good… do you know roughly how much. Dont to waste £70 on Indesit to come out if we will better just buying a new machine?

    The computer boards run from about £60-120 depending on the exact model, the EEPROM’s are typically £15-30, again depending on model. All plus VAT and you may need both……….. 🙁

    IMHO, there are far better appliances available for not a great deal more money. The old adage that you gets what you pays for has never been so true.

    Thank you for your help. Think we will invest in a new one 🙁

    Which of the lower priced makes would you recommend. The machine is only used 3-4 times a week so dont want anything too flash.

    Your advice would be much appreciated as this will be our 3rd washing machine in the space of 3 years!!!

    what were the other two machines you had?
    and what is your budget for a new one?

    Hi, we’ve 2 Indsits and a Whirlpool. Would be looking £200 – £250 mark??

    Find another £50 and you can get a low end Bosch with a two year guarantee.
