    hi guys,
    AW1000W 914213002 01

    turn machine to fast or slow spin,the motor goes round a few times and then the machine advances after about a minute and goes to off position.carbons seem ok,no wiring faults i can see,tacho seems good.
    i suspect the timer.
    any one got any thoughts on this?
    any one got a part no?

    John, have you actually lifted the tacho coil off the back and checked the magnet fixing I wonder?

    no i haven’t, why is it a common problem ?
    i would have thought a tacho problem would have effected the wash program though.It will wash fine but will not spin correctly.

    Had a couple of these do this – timer each time. EMW repairs them at a good price.
