    My Indesit D61 dishwasher will not empty. It was working fine before. We have checked and there appears to be no blockage but the water remains in the bottom of the machine. Has anyone experienced this problem?

    A very common fault, bits bone, plastic, sweetcorn, glass etc. If any of these get inside the drain pump it will stop it from working.

    Drain pump failure is possible..

    Power off if looking further yourself or check the repairs@ link below for an engineer 🙂

    🙂 Thanks for your replies.
    Also the program dial has a problem. It stops when its not supposed to and then sometimes keeps going from program to program. Is this linked at all or a separate fault? Looks like I need an engineer
