    I have a Bosch electric hob top. All four rings (two of them are halogen) are on full heat, no matter what setting you select on the knobs.
    As anyone any ideas what could be the cause of this. I can’t beleive all four ring thermostats have malfunctioned at the same time with the same fault.

    I would say impossible. Have you had a spillage??

    They will all glow very red, but should cut in and out on the regulators.

    As for all four regulators going wrong together, no chance.

    BTW is this a brand new appliance?
