Sean and I had a long chat on the phone today about whether or not the ISE had a ‘rinse hold’ facility? I wasn’t sure but I do recall earlier this year mention from Jim (I think?) that the machine didn’t have such a thing?
Anyway, the up-shot was that I proceeded to test my machine (delicates 30 degrees, quick wash, no spin, all set. Sure enough the machine completeted the cycle without spinning but pumped all the water away and finished as per usual. Conclusion = rinse hold facility not available on this machine!!
The reason I mention all this to you guys is that whilst Sean and I have concluded there is no rinse hold it doesn’t necessarily prove (yet) there isn’t one ❓ And maybe some other programmes and programme functions may allow the end user to be able to suspend the washing in deep water as per what we know to be the effect of rinse hold anyway. So if you know otherwise, please can you let us know?
We did think about using the timer delay function as an alternative that may create a substitute to rinse hold by the way, but not ideal really?
Any thoughts?
