Hi all, my dishwasher stopped heating up, my hubby brought a new element and replaced it, but still no joy, anyone know if there is a reset button on the thermostat? or whether its easy to replace? or maybe even where it is? lol

ok dishwasher has had a new element, and a new thermostat, but apparently now it needs another part. the part must be either a water level indicator or a heating inticator, it protrudes just next to the heating element, anyone know what this part is called? i`ve been told it is definately not working.

Either the NTC temperature sensor, or safety thermostat I’d have thought?
The classic heat fault on this was the machine running for 20-25 minutes, then the dial starts clunking round to the end. The computer has not detected a rise in temperature in the time allowed and has aborted the programe. This usually an NTC failure.

I have the same Dishwwasher and when I put it on to any cycle it doesn’t move at all. The water goes in and the everythings moving inside.I think it might be something with the heating, as I put a cleaner in there (the ones in a bottle that you put in the rack) which takes effect at 65 degrees c. I left it for about 2 hours opend the washer up and it didn’t disolve the top like it normally does to release the liquid ? Could this be because of the heaterin the washer ?
