Ok I dont know whats going on latly with washers in my life but things keep going wrong. Our Creda W120FW has developed a realy nasty smell in the drum, so bad its making the washing come out smelly. The door is open when not in use and I have tryed a boil wash with nothing in but its come back. The draw and filler are clean, as is the rubber door seal. Any idears 😕

Info on that is HERE madrat.

It can only really be bacterial build up or backfilling from the plumbing, the machine cannot possibly cause a smell like that.

Thank you, a very informative pice that. We ran out of powder last month and ended up with a bottle of concentrated liqued for colourd cloths just affter that is when the smell started to appear. I am runing a boil wash with some dishwasher tablets and a discaler at the moment. Will let you know how it turns out. 😀

The wife also got a telling off for not using enough powder sometimes.

Glad to hear it helped madrat.

Using powder regularly, or the Ariel tablets, will keep the smell away just nicely. 😉
