The handle on the above oven has dropped off and a small screw has appeared on the floor. It looks as if the oven door has to be taken off and the inside plate removed to refix the handle. However, I can’t see how to take the door off.

    Can anybody help please.

There should be a method of locking the hinges – flip levers, loops or twist buttons are common ways of doing it. There’s a sticky at the top of the forum which is worth a read.

for anybody else that needs to know I have worked it out . There are small holes in the hinges which can be locked with a small screwdriver allowing the hinge to lift out.
