AEG Oko_Lavamat 86720

I have an AEG lavamat 86720 that is having problems on all cycles. It starts the cycle as normal by draining, making a few clicks and whirring a bit, then will even fill with a bit of water but as soon as the drum starts to move the program pauses. If i press the start button again it carries on for a few more seconds then pauses again. This all started after i put the machine running empty on a quick cycle to clean out some dirt/hair buildup.
