    I have a little-used Hotpoint Ultima SDW80 in a rental property that constantly has ‘DEMO’ code when trying any of the programmes.
    The dishwasher will not run.

    Any idea what this means or what I need to do to get the machine working again?

    Does the machine have an ON/OFF switch and a START switch, if so you could try holding both buttons in for a few seconds.
