    Tricity Bendix 4638. Bottom right hinge/area made loud bang and metal filings deposited on floor. Think this could be a snapped spring tensioner? Could anybody advise and name part replacement if possible. Door no longer holds firmly shut and no resistance when opening so that it falls hard down.

    Amazingly obsolete. Type 4638 into the “search” facility, lots of posts about it.
