Had a close look at a couple of these whilst in one of the sheds buying some cables.
A question for the Hotpoint bods. How are the instructions from the control panel which is situated in the door, transferred to the controls inside the body of the machine. ?Re: Hotpoint Aqualtis
Judging by the illustration of the AQXL169UK, simply by ribbon cable to the main power/control module in the base I guess? 🙂

Ah, I couldn’t see a cable but I didn’t want to appear too interested, a couple of your colleagues were bearing down on me, so I moved on before I said something to offend them. Mind you I could not resist asking one of them if I needed to take out a five year cover on the £4.99 connector I had just purchased. :rolls: 😆
A ribbon cable, through the hinge, trouble brewing there methinks. 😉

We’ve now got the new Hoover VisionHD (8kg) in, jesus, if you thought the Aqualtis were bad!
